Kelli Salter, Broker/REALTOR® is the exclusive sponsor of the 2015 Hug-A-Hero® Holiday Salute.

Deployments are tough on children, especially during the holidays.  That is why the Hug-A-Hero® Holiday Salute is so important to Kelli.  She knows firsthand how difficult this can be. Kelli’s husband, Michael, has proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years and has been already been deployed four times.  Watching her son say good-bye to his daddy is heartbreaking.  Keeping Daddy close is even more important during this time which is why Kelli’s son has his own Hug-A-Hero® doll.  Kelli is even more excited to be able to share this experience with 100 other children who have a Mommy or Daddy deployed this Christmas.

The Hug-A-Hero® Holiday Salute will give 100 Hug-A-Hero® dolls to local military children who will be separated from a deployed parent during this holiday season.  To add to the experience, each Hug-A-Hero® doll will be hand delivered along with a personalized video message recorded by the deployed parent.  Better yet, as the child is viewing the video and receiving their gift, their reaction will also be captured and sent to the deployed parent so they may share in the experience.
